St. Sebastian is hosting an interfaith memorial and healing service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30 in honor of the victims of the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka. The service is sponsored by the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee – located on 54th and Vliet in Washington Heights Neighborhood – and is open to all persons. Speakers from many faith traditions will be present, including the Jewish, Muslim, Protestant Christian and Roman Catholic faiths. One of the churches which was bombed is St.Sebastian’s Church,Katuwapitiya,Negombo,Sri Lanka., so it is very fitting for us to be asked to host this interfaith service. All are welcome.
