St. Sebastian PAL (Parents’ Alternative to Latchkey) child care program is located on the lower level of St. Sebastian School and offers reasonable rates and flexible scheduling, including part-time and half-day options. Available hours are 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., but families can sign children up for flexible times.
Before and After School Care
St. Sebastian’s PAL program provides quality care for students who attend St. Sebastian School, serving as an alternative to latchkey for children needing care before and after the regular school day. The program provides a safe and supervised environment for the children.
Hours are 6:30 a.m. until 7:55 a.m., and then again from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Every Wednesday, the after school program begins at 2 p.m., when the St. Sebastian school day ends.
The PAL program also offers full-time care on days during the school year when St. Sebastian School is closed.

- Open-ended art
- Hands-on science and art activities
- Large motor opportunities including gym activities, outdoor play and neighborhood exploration
Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on St. Sebastian’s preschool / day care program, or to obtain registration materials, please contact Frank Maloney at 414-453-8944.
Summer Day Camp
PAL offers two separate summer day camps: one for children ages 3 to 5, and one for children ages 5 to 14. The summer program is distinct from our fall preschool, extended care, and before and after school settings and requires a separate registration.
The summer 3-5-year-old program maintains PAL’s preschool curriculum but with a greater emphasis on outdoor and active programming, including weekly field trips, day trips to local parks, swimming at area wading pools and neighborhood exploration. On-campus programming includes art, sensory and gym activities as well as plentiful and varied play opportunities. Students completing K4 may have the option of moving up to our day camp setting.
The day camp is a very active program and children spend a great deal of time in and about our neighborhood, especially at area parks. Activities are off-campus three days a week, once on a traditional field trip and twice for swimming. One of the weekly swimming trips is an all-day outing, allowing the children to take advantage the green spaces surrounding the swim venues. On-campus time includes lots of group games and sports activities as well as art, craft and project options.
