Social Action & Outreach
St. Sebastian has a long history of working with our neighborhood, the city and the world to promote peace and social justice. The parish Human Concerns Committee discerns the needs of persons in the parish and wider community, and identifies resources to meet those needs enlisting the active cooperation of parish members. The committee’s scope of responsibility is two-fold: to meet immediate needs, and to work for changes in the oppressive structures of society.
